FIM World Motocross Championship FINAL Round : Germany

The last MXGP of the year was celebrated today in Teutschenthal and it could not have a better ending with up to 40000 spectators witnessing how Antonio Cairoli and Tommy Searle won the German Grand Prix, and how their home rider Ken Roczen finished on the second step of the podium in the MX1 class.

The last round of the FIM MX3 World Championship also took place today in Teutschenthal, where Matthias Walker obtained the Title after finishing second overall. It was Filip Neugebauer who won the German round and Martin Michek completed the MX3 podium and finished second in the Championship. Günter Schmidinger was fourth today, but he was very happy at the end of the day because he managed to obtain the third position in the MX3 point standings.

FIM World Championship : Loket 2012

The Casino Bonver GP of the Czech Republic took place today in Loket and the 23000 spectators were able to see Antonio Cairoli winning his 50th Grand Prix and Jeffrey Herlings obtaining his seventh overall victory of the season. Earlier in the morning the UEM EMX250 riders went out the track and Mel Pocock was able to win the race and got another overall victory. Tim Gajser and Maxime Desprey completed the podium.

FIM World Championship : Russia 2012

The sun was finally out to host the main races of the eleventh Grand Prix of the FIM Motocross World Championship, and the 45000 people gathered at Semigorje this weekend and the great racing in both MX1 and MX2 classes turn the MXGP Russia into one of the most successful events so far this season. All the riders were really impressed by the crowd who came to watch them racing and they were all also very satisfied with new track they found at Semigorje. In MX1 Cairoli took the honours with Herlings wrapping it up in MX2.

AMA Motocross : Washougal

The beautiful setting on Washougal, Washington set the scene for a breakthrough of sorts in the  2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. The Peterson/CAT Washougal National not only provided yet another trilling bar-to-bar battle for 250 supremacy, but even provided some drama in the all-to-predictable 450 class. Combine that great racing with perfect weather and a big crowd, and you're left with a great send off toward the series' two-weekend break.

MX of Nations 2012

Despite it being another two months before the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations is played out at the Lommel circuit in Belgium on September 30, several nations are starting to talk about possible rider line-ups.
