As of April 2nd, 2012 the Nike Chosen Sessions have officially kicked off on top of Silvretta Montafon, Austria. As a culmination of both the Nike Chosen Series and the Nike Chosen Video Crew Contest, the lucky and talented winners from all different regions gathered to see which crew and which individual would be crowned the Chosen one.

Last week over 200 men and women TTR ranked snowboarders gathered in Oslo, Norway for the World Snowboarding Championships. This series of events including quarterpipe, halfpipe, and slopestyle was the first of it's kind since 1999. Among the competitors were 3-times TTR World Tour winners Peetu Piiroinen and Jamie Anderson, 2012 X-Games winners Mark McMorris and Torstein Horgmo as well as Olympic gold medallist Kelly Clark all competing for World Champion 2012 titles and $500,000 in total prize money.
